Get the bext of both worlds with this double bundle of my original Chameleon powders AND my new Ethereal flakes.
This new range of Ethereal flakes continues the chameleon theme but instead of them having a dark base to the products, they have a white base, making them slightly transparent compared to the original colours.
This means they can not only be used over a black base (which gives the most vibrant results) but on top of either natural wood, or many different colours of base paints to give different results which can vary from looking vibrant to subtle.
(Just make sure to have a well-primed base with no flaws beacuse due to their transparent nature you will see a 'bad paint job' through them!)
The other exciting aspect is that the Ethereal colours look incredible mixed in with resin! The original Chameleon range go very dark in resin, but these work fantastically well and also work in coloured resin (with dyes - not mica powders).
The bundle contains a full set of powders and a full set of flakes. There is no size or brush included in this bundle.
The Ethereal flakes jars each contain 0.5g of flakes in the following colours:
- 'Imp' - deep orangey red to gold shift
- 'Elf' - green to lilac shift
- 'Pixie' - hot pink to orange and lilac
- 'Faerie' - lilac to turqoise shift
- 'Sprite' - gold to amber shift
- 'Wisp' - blue to purple shift
The Chameleon flakes pack contains 0.5g of the following colours:
- 'Phoenix' - deep orange to gold shift
- 'Dragon' - teal to vibrant purple shift
- 'Kraken' - dark geen to blue shift
- 'Chimera' - deep pink to orange and gree shift
- 'Mermaid' - grassy green to gold shift
- 'Djinn' - dark blue/purple to deep red shift
Both products can be used as a colouring technique which I thoroughly enjoy; using the metal leaf size as a base to adhere the mica/flakes to your work. They can be used with resin and for cosmetic purposes such as nail art.
