This fabulous little Gonk has been made by wood artist Emma Cook - The Tiny Turner.

Sporting a lilac faux fur beard over a Sycamore body, this little Gonk also shows off a coloured Beech hat with a Sycamore bobble on top and a matching Sycamore nose.

These particular Gonks have a flat base to allow them to stand freely.

Gonks have come from the traditional Scandinavia gnome (or Nisse) which are popular within Nordic mythology. They are typically associated with the Winter Solstice and Christmas, but they do live in barns and outhouses all year round and actually as guardians, so feel free to keep your Gonk around throughout the whole year! Just remember to leave a bowl of porridge out for him on Christmas Eve as a thank you for his protection or he might just start creating mischief!
