This dome buffing mop set comprises of three medium-sized mops, in the A, B and C cloth grades. The threads on the mops are compatible with the same mandrels used with the buffing system/buffing tree/individual buffing wheels.
THIS LISTING INCLUDES THE MANDREL REQUIRED TO ATTACH THE MOPS TO YOUR CHUCK*.
This full set including of mops will save you a little bit of money compared to purchasing the mops and mandrel individually.
*If you already have a mandrel to attach the mops to your chuck, you can purchase the whole set without the mandrel here.
This set of mops is perfect for buffing the interiors of bowl and platters in order to reduce the catching risk the wheels can pose. I personally use the buffing mops with Menzerna compounds when buffing my larger resin pieces.
PLEASE NOTE: The Buffing Mop Set does NOT come as kit containing compounds etc. If you do wish to purchase the compounds Chestnut sells with their buffing wheel system, they are available here.
