If you are a woodturner looking to add some new spice to your turnings, then look no further!
Emma Cook (AKA The Tiny Turner) is a tradtionally trained wood turner and wood carver, who often combines the skills of each to make truly unique pieces.
Her Wood Carving Masterclass for Woodturners is aimed towards turners who are delving into embellishing their work with texture, patterns and motifs but also looking to enhance their skill base.
Join Emma to look at the different carving chisels available - which to chose and which to leave out - as well as how to sharpen them and some basic carving techniques.
She will be turning a small piece - or two depending on time! - with a discussion on the considerations needed when it is a piece to be carved. Finally, Emma will look at adding some texture to the piece(s) using the techniques covered during the session.
